Spring is coming...

Despite large swaths of the country either buried in snow or experiencing frigid temperatures, spring is on the way. I know your skis are probably still taking up most of the room in your car or entryway, but what about your golf clubs? When was the last time you showed them any love?

Hopefully, you've been out on the slopes and staying active all winter, but golf uses an entirely different muscle group and if you don't want to lose your swing, you might want to schedule in some time to hit a bucket or two. To help, we've put together a list of our favorite driving ranges from all over the country so that way, if your local favorite is still buried in the white stuff, you can still find some green nearby.

Number 5: Grand Sierra, Reno NV

grand sierra driving range

This water based range can be found at the Grand Sierra in Reno, NV. Eight floating islands of different sizes and distances, plus the chance to win prizes with a hole-in-one, is the main reason we keep coming back. That and the all night drinking and gambling...

Number 4: Chelsea Piers, NYC

Chelsea driving range

4 floors of heated private stalls with automatic tee up systems and a view of the Hudson makes Chelsea a "must stop" for any golf enthusiast. Need some extra help? They also have a 2,000 sqft teaching facility complete with an indoor putting green and sand bunker.

Number 3: PGA Learning Center, Port St. Lucie, FL

PGA learning center

One of the most complete practice facilities, The PGA Learning Center has all of the tools required to take your game from good to great. They have a 3 hole teaching course and 7,000 sqft of putting greens so, whether you need a tweak or an overhaul, they have got you covered.

Number 2: Pebble Beach, California

Completely remodeled in 2014, fine tune your swing before heading out on one of the most iconic courses in the world. Check out the 40,000 sqft short game practice complex to help you get on the green and they even have caddies! So, they have that going for them, which is nice...

Number 1: Big Cedar Golf, Ridgedale, MO

big cedar driving range

Chances are, you've never practiced on a driving range designed by Arnold Palmer. Located at Top of the Rock at Big Cedar Golf, the Cliffhanger Green with waterfall is the most scenic range in the country and with in-ground lighting, you can even practice all night long.
