For the last 6 to 7 years we have switched our cotton manufacturing into the hands of Peruvian family run farms and factories. We had the opportunity to go down and see first hand where and how our apparel is made and this is what we learned......
Much like coffee, cashmere or wine, the quality of cotton varies greatly. Thanks to ideal growing conditions, extra long staple length and hand harvesting, Peruvian cotton is the worlds finest, prized for it's exceptional durability, softness and brilliant luster.
In Peru it's a vertical operation, from the seed's to the actual garment end product, it's all done in one place. It's grown, knitted, sewn, and printed! These factories have an appreciation and love for the environment and it can be seen in the way their businesses are run.
As a customer of Toes on the Nose we want you to feel like you are wearing clothes that have a story behind them, from the artwork, to the designing, all the way to the construction.
We are extremely thankful for our relationship with Peru and are excited for what the future holds with this partnership.
